Christine Gadbois named Director of St. Joseph Health Center
Christine Gadbois has been named Director of the St. Joseph Health Center. She brings more than 25 years of varied healthcare experience to this position. Most recently, Christine served as a Director at The Providence Center, where she was responsible for developing an Accountable Care Entity model along with other duties. Throughout her career, Gadbois has held numerous leadership positions including Vice President, Assistant Administrator for Adult Services, and Director of Health Services at Seven Hill Rhode Island.
She has worked at a number of health care organizations including Butler Hospital, Community Visiting Nurse Agency, Managed Psychiatric Care, and Fuller Memorial Hospital. Gadbois received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Master of Science Degree in Community Health Nursing from the University of Massachusetts. She is part-time faculty in the College of Nursing, Graduate Program at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She is accredited through a number of organizations including the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists and the American Nurses Board as a Public Health Clinical Nurse Specialist. Gadbois is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Rhode Island Public Health Association and the International Nursing Society of Addictions and has numerous presentations to her credit.
