Fatima Hospital hosting free prostate cancer screening on November 4
Fatima Hospital will host its annual prostate cancer screening on Wednesday November 4, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the hospital’s Endoscopy Center.
While prostate cancer doesn’t have any noticeable symptoms until the advanced stages, it can be treated successfully if discovered early. Since men don’t experience any early symptoms, a blood test and exam may be beneficial for men over 50 years old or younger if there is a personal or family history that puts you at high risk. Our staff, including Board Certified Urologists, will be available to provide education, answer your questions and help you to determine which tests are right for you. Anyone under a urologist’s care at the present time or who has seen a urologist in the past six months need not attend this clinic.
To schedule an appointment or for more information about the free prostate cancer screenings, please call (401) 456-3105 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
